CoPromote is a Marketer's Dream

Hello Lovely authors,

Today we are going to talk about a very convenient little tool I have discovered, courtesy of Amanda Mabry, of Our Write Side (A great Facebook community for authors. You should check them out!) I love CoPromote. It is kind of a marketer's dream! You connect your social media accounts, and the community is built around everyone sharing each other's posts. You share posts in areas that interest you, and get "boost points" based on the size of your following.

Then you pick a post that you want to boost, and watch it happen "organically" so to speak. No more begging for RTs, no more hunting for accounts who will be polite enough to share your content because you shared theirs.

It looks and feels organic because these folks are re-sharing what is interesting to them in the list of posts, when it is convenient for them.

So awesome!

And there's a pretty decent amount of book topics in there, despite no category specifically about books. I have been working on building up a list of authors and publishers to follow, so I can keep the materials more focused as readers tend to be my primary focus on social media. But I share some music and marketing posts as well.

No more hoping you get enough random people supporting you on Thunderclap or Head Talkers (Though, I still love those resources as well and am still using those, they aren't always convenient for smaller promotion, or last minute promotions.)

I have been enjoying the free option, but there is a paid option if you are looking to make a big splash in a short amount of time.

Have you tried CoPromote? What do you think? Let us know in the comments below.

Until next time,

Keep Writing!
